The crowds of tourists were seen in the different tourist points of Shangla district celebrating the Eid festival despite the lockdown imposed for all three days by the government amid covid-19 pandemic.
Tourists came from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s different parts have reached the district Shangla upper and scenic places including Yakhtangay, Bahadar Sar, Kandaw, Jabba, Ajmeer, Logay and enjoying their vacations.
Local tourists also reached the picturesque valleys along with families and made barbecue and other foods at the high altitude locations, cold and lush green pastures.
Hafeez Ur Rehman, a tourist who came from Dera Ismail Khan, said that he had to go Kalam but the police did not allow them there and they turned to Shangla but Shangla he found more beautiful and scenic.
He said, the Shangla tourist places accessible and located in the middle of thick forests and natural springs were amazing.
Tourists heading to Gilgit Baltistan also stuck in Bisham city’s hotels as they were stopped by the Gilgit Baltistan police at Thor Check post and back to Bisham.
Tourists said they would leave for Gilgit Baltistan after the expiry of three days lockdown and ban imposed by the government entry to Gilgit Baltistan.
