The Shangla health department inaugurated an anti-covid-19 vaccination drive for front-line health workers here on Wednesday at the district headquarters hospital, Alpuri.
The Shangla deputy commissioner, Hamid Ur Rehman, Medical Superintendent DHQ hospital, Dr. Shafiulmulk, and others were present on the occasion.
In the first phase of vaccination the health workers including doctors, paramedics vaccinated the vaccines.
The DHQ hospital spokesperson, Dr Sharifullah Saqib, said during the drive the front line health workers across the district would be vaccinated with the vaccine to protect them first and in the second phase common people aged 50-60 would also be vaccinated for which data was being collected.
