A driver was killed and two other were injured when a cement laden truck fell into a ravine after a fault developed in goods transported vehicle. The incident took place on the Karakoram highway here on Friday morning.
The Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Rasool Khan Sharif told The Northern Post that their team reached the spot as soon as received a call and retrieved the injured and a dead body of the driver which was underneath of
cement bags laden the truck with.
he said the injured and dead body was shifted to the Tehsil headquarters hospital, after provision of first aid to the injured at the incident scene.
Rescue 1122 officials identified the deceased driver Sufyan, resident of LandiKotal, district Khyber, Bakht Taj and Zar Said as injured, resident of landikotal, Khyber.
