SHANGLA: The assistant commissioner, Bisham, Khuram Rehman Jadoon along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health care commission’s senior inspector conducted raids on private hospitals in Bisham and sealed a clinical laboratory and the hospital operation theater for keeping expired chemicals and unqualified surgeon.
AC Bisham Khuram Rehman and senior inspector of HCC for Malakand division, Saeed Ur Rehman conducted raids on the hospitals following the public complaints in Bisham bazar and found expired chemicals in a clinical laboratory of a private hospital and also its operation theater OT uncleaned.
AC Bisham later told reporters that according to the HCC inspector Saeed Ur Rehman, the surgeon doctor present at the hospital was not qualified for carrying out operations for that reason the operation theater was also sealed.
The AC Bisham and HCC inspector also warned the private hospitals managements to ensure cleanliness, availability of surgeon doctors at the OTs and avoid keeping expired chemicals in laboratories otherwise face legal action.
