The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial disaster management authority, PDMA has issued an advisory on Thursday evening while forecasting rain and snowfall in the upper parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and erstwhile from tomorrow Friday evening.
It said a new spell of rain and snowfall expected to start from Friday as informed by the Pakistan Metrological Department.
The statement mentioned that district administrations of the concerned areas had been asked to make arrangements to tackle with any emergency related to rains.
It said amid rainfall landsliding could occur in upper parts and urban flooding in plain areas of the KP thus administration would have to be prepared.
The PDMA statement noted that the new spell of rain and snowfall likely to continue till Tuesday of next week.
