The Shangla police distributed ration and cash among 100 needy families here on Monday at district police officer, Shangla, office.
The DPO Shangla had arranged the distribution of foods stuff among orphans, widows and needy people at DPO office in Alpuri. The ration was donated by the DPO’s father Malak Muhammad Din Awan, who was also present on the occasion.
DPO Shangla on the occasion said that whenever he visit his home discussed the poor families of Shangla who have been suffering for long due to poverty.
He said, at this crucial time of covid-19 and lockdown the business and other activities were closed and poverty stricken had financial issues, so his father donated ration and cash amount among 100 families.
He urged the people to help the people of their surrounding in this difficult time the nation is facing and everyone can help the people to provide ration and other foods.
