SHANGLA: Rescue 1122 has opened its new station in Bisham tehsil here on Wednesday, it is the second station in the district first station was inaugurated in Alpuri three months ago.
The rescue 1122 second station was inaugurated by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for labor and culture, Shaukat Yousafzai, besides PTI leaders, the rescue 1122 district emergency officer, Nasir Khan, and others were present.
After the inauguration, the new station, minister for labor and culture, Shaukat Yousafzai, said that two more stations of the rescue 1122 would be established in PK-24 constituency and these stations had been fully equipped and can tackle any emergency.
He said it was his dream for which he made efforts and today two stations so far made operational and they started serving the public in Bisham and Alpuri tehsils.
Minister said, he was striving to address the tehsil headquarters hospital issues but it would take time and gradually slowly would be addressed, work on several major and link roads continued in the district.
Replying to a question, he said that deputy commissioner Shangla had been directed to keep a strict check on the contractors who deliberately delaying the approved projects.
Nasir Khan, district emergency officer, rescue 1122, said on the occasion that there 135 staff members in the district in which 44 deployed in Bisham station and the rest of the staff providing their services in the main Alpuri station.
He urged the public to avoid fake calls which was not only the loss of the national wealth but also problem to the stations staff.
“As you know Shangla is hard and remote terrain where emergencies tackling us is so difficult, our vehicle can not ply on that rough roads, therefore, they should take down their emergency patients to roads where they can provide first aid and shift to hospitals,” He appealed.
