SHANGLA: Shangla police on Monday claimed to have arrested a terrorist wanted to police in three different terrorist cases and carried head money 50 lakh rupees.
It was district police officer, Shangla, Asif Gohar here during a news conference in Alpuri. Station House officer, Karora, Muhammad Arif Khan and sub-divisional police officer, Khan zeb were present.
He said with the round the clock efforts of his police team during a search operation they arrested a most wanted terrorist Aqal Bacha who was wanted in three different terrorist cases to Shangla police.
He said, the government had announced Rs 50 lakh for the Aqal Bacha’s head and he ha been remained disappear from the area for the last 10 years.
DPO said, the arrest of the terrorist was made on the tip of informer and it was widely appreciated by the local people too because since his arrival in Shangla local people were afraid.
He said, the arrested terrorist had been shifted to undisclosed place for interrogation, however, police had expedite the search operation in the Alpuri area to maintain peace in the area.
The terrorist is belongs to Neri Dara of Alpuri tehsil Shangla.
