Mansehra: A transgender person was shot dead by unknown assailants at Nari area in Mansehra city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Monday evening.
According to police, two unidentified persons entered the transgender Farhan known as Honey’s room located in the Mansehra city’s outskirts and shot her dead.
Police said, soon after the incident they reached to the spot and shifted the dead body district hospital Mansehra, also a large number of transgender community members reached the hospital.
According to the slain transgender, she was a known dancer in Mansehra area.
Police said, they have lodged an FIR under section 302 of PPC and begins further interrogation.
