Abu Dhabi — The United Arab Emirates has confirmed that its air defence systems are “actively engaging” incoming missiles and drones launched from Iran, marking a sharp escalation in regional tensions.
According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, multiple ballistic and cruise missiles, along with unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), were detected and intercepted as they entered the country’s airspace.
