RAWALPINDI: An Accountability Court in Rawalpindi is set to announce the long-awaited verdict in the £190 million case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and his wife, Bushra Bibi, today.
According to sources, court staff informed the legal teams representing PTI founder and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that the verdict will be delivered at today in Adiala Jail.
Previously, the court had delayed the announcement of the verdict in this case three times.
It is important to note that the Accountability Court in Islamabad had reserved its decision in the £190 million reference against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
The hearing was conducted by Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana at Adiala Jail, who reserved the verdict after both the prosecution and defense teams completed their arguments.
The final ruling will be announced on December 23, following nearly a year of hearings.
