SHANGLA: The deputy commissioner Shangla, Imran Hussain Ranjha has distributed compensation cheques among the affected people of recent rainfall.
The cheuqes distribution ceremony was held at the DC officer, in Alpuri Shangla, where officials of the office were also present.
DC Shangla had given away cheques of RS 100,000 and Rs 50,000 to the families whose houses were damaged in the recent rainfall and snowfall. DC Shangla Imran Hussain Ranjha said on the occasion that he had distributed cheques among the 12 affected families from all tehsils of the district Shangla whose houses were damaged in result of rainfall and snowfall.
He said, provision of compensation on behalf of the government was meant that the affected people could rebuild their houses and begin prospers life again.
